MAUTIC EXPANDS EXECUTIVE TEAM WITH ADDITION OF JOHN MONTGOMERY AS CHIEF CUSTOMER OFFICER
Leader in Open Marketing Automation Welcomes Operations and Customer Success Leader as Global Demand Increases
August 15, 2018: Mautic, the company that provides the world’s only Open Marketing Cloud, today announced that John Montgomery has joined the leadership team as the new Chief Customer Officer. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer at Layer, and before that, SVP of Customer Success and Professional Services at Applause. Montgomery brings elite experience in building customer-driven teams focused on growth and retention.

Montgomery joins Mautic as the company recorded another strong quarter, including achieving 10X year-over-year growth in European adoption of its open marketing automation platform, as well as winning a 2018 ROI Award from Nucleus Research.

John previously served in leadership roles for San Francisco and Boston-based firms. This includes Layer, where as COO he led all customer-facing operations. Montgomery was also responsible for customer and product growth efforts for companies such as Applause, Openwave, Polycom and Oracle. He officially joined the company late last month, and he leads a cross-functional team focused on delivering excellence at every stage of the Mautic customer journey.
